Let's talk about your taxes.

Questions we hear every season.
Do I have to live in Florida to work with you?
No. We prepare and file returns for clients across the United States. Everything can be handled remotely, by phone, email and a secure document link. In-person appointments are available in St. Cloud, Florida by prior arrangement.
Are you licensed to represent me before the IRS?
Yes. Griny Read is an Enrolled Agent, a credential granted by the IRS itself. Enrolled Agents have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS in audits, collections and appeals, in any state.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes. We work in English and Spanish, including documents and correspondence. You can write to us in whichever you are more comfortable with.
What documents do I need the first year?
Photo ID, Social Security or ITIN card, last year tax return, W-2 from each employer, any 1099 forms, records of self-employment income and expenses, your health coverage form and your bank details for direct deposit. If you have filed with us before, you only need this year documents.
How do I send my documents securely?
Never by email or through the contact form. Once your appointment is confirmed, Griny sends you a private Verifyle link. Your documents travel encrypted end to end and you do not need to create an account.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your situation. A return with only a W-2 is not the same as one with self-employment income or income in several states. We quote before starting any work, and payment is made securely through Square.
When should I file my return?
The federal deadline is usually April 15. We recommend gathering your documents in January and February so there is time to review them. If you need more time we can file an extension, but an extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay.
